PARRIE
JACKAL
outside of his window, the city bustles, afternoon fading into twilight, the first stars winking into sight. cyno has been streaming all day, longer than anticipated, but the newest toyoverse game is all too addictive, and he's absolutely spent real person money rolling on the shiny new five stars. it's been hours since he climbed into this chair, and while his chat has been good about redeeming stretch and hydrate reminders, he's nevertheless grown a little sore.

Kaveh is sitting in a booth at the local cafe, nursing a cup of something creamy and sweet and absolutely spiked (what the barista doesn't know won't hurt her), and planning out what he wants to do for the next month or so of his streams. Jackal destroyed his world record speedrun in their shared favorite Metroidvania just yesterday, and with the other currently focused on the newest Toyoverse game, Kaveh has time to claw the top spot back.
".. you shouldn't need to lie to them. To us."
"I'm not lying to anyone. It's easier— being her, I mean."
WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT
"And then Jackal's name appears in chat, highlighted per the channel settings, and Kaveh feels heat rush to his cheeks as, for the first time ever, everyone gets to see Paradisaea freeze up for a moment— or two, or three. That's before a forced laugh bubbles to her lips, and a finger twirls in her hair in a way meant to be both playful and sultry, but seems almost hesitant— a hint of Kaveh sneaking through."

INTO THE PUBLIC
"three dates is enough to be sure, right? well, cyno was sure before the first. he was sure before their first kiss. even still, it was their little secret for a few weeks.. but no longer. to be honest, his followers and hers both have been a little suspicious of it, ever since parrie agreed to kiss him for beating his score. since that day, they'd both been in exceptionally good moods, and that was something their viewers easily picked up on, even if cyno evaded every probing question."
